Motorists who rely on Bull's Head Car Park in Hamilton will need to plan ahead, as the City of Hamilton has announced that the facility's top two levels will be shut over two consecutive weekends so crews can complete essential maintenance work.

The closures are scheduled for Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, followed by Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25. During those periods, the upper levels will be off-limits to vehicles, reducing available parking in one of the city's busiest parking facilities.

The lower levels of the car park are expected to remain open, though drivers heading into the city on those weekends may face tighter parking conditions than usual. Shoppers, workers and visitors are encouraged to allow extra time, consider alternative parking options, or make use of public transport where possible.

The City of Hamilton said the work is necessary to keep the structure in good condition and safe for the public. Officials thanked motorists for their patience and cooperation while the maintenance is carried out, and apologised for any inconvenience the temporary closures may cause. Normal access to all levels is expected to resume once the work is complete.
