Bermudian rugby player Jamin Hodgkins played a central role in a remarkable comeback victory in Canadian university rugby, as the University of British Columbia Old Boys Ravens overturned a 25-point half-time deficit to defeat the UBC Thunderbirds 40-25 in Vancouver.

Hodgkins contributed five conversions and helped set up two tries in the contest, which was played at the Gerald McGavin UBC Rugby Centre. The Ravens found themselves trailing 25-0 at the interval before producing a dramatic second-half turnaround, crossing for six unanswered tries to claim the win.

The performance marks another strong showing for the Bermudian international, who has continued to develop his game in the competitive Canadian rugby scene. His accurate goal-kicking proved decisive in the comeback, converting five of his side's six tries as the Ravens stormed back into contention.

Hodgkins has been among Bermuda's most promising rugby exports in recent years, representing the island at international level while pursuing his career overseas. His exploits in Vancouver will be closely followed by the local rugby community, with Bermuda's national programme benefiting from players gaining experience in high-level competition abroad.
