Bermudian show jumper Tyler James has wrapped up an impressive fortnight of competition at the Split Rock Jumping Tour in Lexington, Kentucky, delivering consistent performances across two internationally rated events.
James took part in the Split Rock Kentucky National CSI2* show before stepping up to the Split Rock Fall Classic CSI3* competition, with the series running from September 16 to 27. The Kentucky venue is regarded as one of the premier destinations for equestrian sport in the United States, drawing riders from around the world.
A spokesperson described the campaign as a success, noting that the Bermudian rider produced continued strong results throughout both legs of the tour. Competing at the CSI2* and CSI3* levels places James among a competitive international field, with the higher-rated Fall Classic representing a significant test against top-ranked combinations.
The results mark another step forward for James, who continues to fly Bermuda's flag on the international equestrian circuit. His performances in Lexington add to a growing record of achievement overseas and underscore the island's presence in a sport where Bermudian athletes have increasingly made their mark on the global stage.
