Conduit Holdings Limited, the parent of Bermuda‑based Conduit Re, has announced the appointment of reinsurance specialist Winfried Knust to spearhead expansion in several key lines, including credit, surety, political risk and mortgage reinsurance.

The partnership is expected to enhance Conduit Re’s underwriting capabilities and support the company’s strategy to broaden its product portfolio in the Atlantic region. Knust’s experience in structuring complex reinsurance solutions will be leveraged to identify new opportunities and optimise risk transfer for clients.
