The 19th anniversary of Tomorrow’s Voices will be celebrated this October with the fourth annual “Move Your Feet for Autism” 5‑kilometre family walk in Hamilton on Sunday, 11 October. The event will start at 9 am from the Hamilton Waterfront Promenade and will take participants through the historic streets of the capital, offering scenic views of the harbor and the iconic Bermuda clock towers.
The walk is organised to raise funds for Tomorrow’s Voices’ therapeutic programmes, which provide essential support for children and adults with autism across the island. Local volunteers from schools, community clubs and the Bermuda Yacht Club will be on hand to guide walkers and offer refreshments. The event will also feature a short educational session on autism awareness, presented by a local neurologist.
“We’re thrilled to bring the community together for a cause that touches many of our families,” said Tomorrow’s Voices’ director, Jane Morgan. “The 5‑k walk is more than a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of the resilience and diversity that define Bermuda.” Registration is open until 9 am on the day, and participants can sign up online or in person at the Hamilton Town Hall.
The proceeds will support the organisation’s expanding therapy rooms and new peer‑mentoring programmes, ensuring that children with autism have access to the best local support. The walk is free to enter, but all participants are encouraged to donate to help cover the costs of supplies and venue hire.
