Bermuda Elevator Systems Ltd. (BESL) announced a brand refresh that will see the company operating under the name Elevity over the next few weeks. The change, unveiled at the company’s Hamilton headquarters, reflects nearly five decades of service that began in 1979.
Elevity will continue to supply and maintain elevator solutions from leading global manufacturers such as TK Elevators, Savaria, Smartrise and Matot. The new brand name is intended to underscore the firm’s commitment to reliability, safety and customer service.
"BESL has always been a trusted partner for both residential and commercial buildings throughout Bermuda," said a BESL spokesperson. "The Elevity rebrand is a natural evolution that will allow us to better communicate our core values and the high standards we uphold for the island’s infrastructure."
The move comes as Bermuda’s tourism sector and growing residential developments increasingly emphasize accessibility. A local mayor noted that reliable vertical transport is essential for hotels, condominiums and public buildings alike.
Elevity will remain headquartered in Hamilton and will continue to employ a team of local technicians. The company plans to roll out the new branding across its marketing materials, website and customer communications by the end of the month.
