Every Wednesday, the local news outlet Bernews showcases a fresh digital design in its Wallpaper Wednesday series. The latest piece captures the island’s signature green scenery, rendered as a stylised grassy outline that appears to float above a vivid turquoise backdrop. The artwork celebrates Bermuda’s familiar lilt of nature and water while offering a modern, on‑screen aesthetic.

The design is available in two ready‑to‑use formats: a horizontal version suitable for a Facebook profile cover, and a vertical version that fits perfectly as a mobile phone wallpaper, WhatsApp status, or Instagram story image. Users can download the files directly from the Bernews website, with no cost or registration required, making it an easy way for residents and visitors alike to add a touch of Bermudian charm to their digital spaces.

The initiative, which began as a simple countdown to the weekend, has grown into a platform where local designers and photographers can share creative interpretations of Bermuda’s landscapes. This week’s piece was crafted by a local graphic artist who noted that the ‘floating’ effect was meant to evoke the island’s sense of lightness and marine beauty.

For those wishing to personalise their devices or simply enjoy a visual reminder of home, the new wallpaper offers an accessible and share‑worthy option. The design will remain available for the foreseeable future, and future releases are expected to continue highlighting the unique character of Bermuda through digital art.
