Hamilton-based investment firm LOM Financial Limited has confirmed it repurchased 5,000 of its own shares during September 2026, according to a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The company said the shares were acquired at an average price of $8.00 each and will be held in treasury. The buyback represents a modest transaction in dollar terms, with the total outlay estimated at around $40,000.

Share repurchase programmes are commonly used by publicly traded companies to return value to shareholders, manage capital structure and signal confidence in the firm's financial position. Shares held in treasury may later be reissued or cancelled, depending on the company's strategic needs.

LOM Financial, which has operated in Bermuda for decades, provides a range of services including wealth management, brokerage, custody and corporate trust solutions to local and international clients. Its shares are listed on the BSX, the island's primary securities exchange.

Market watchers note that buyback activity on the BSX tends to be closely followed by local investors, given the relatively small pool of listed companies on the exchange. Further details on the company's share capital position are expected in upcoming regulatory filings.
