Bermudian motorcycle rider Jediah Cumbermack returned to his homeland’s racing community with pride after placing ninth and tenth in the two races of the 1P Mobile National Junior Sportbike Championship final round at Donington Park, Leicestershire, on the weekend of 3–4 October.

The 20‑year‑old, a proud member of the Bermuda Motorbike Club, said the results were a testament to the support he receives back home, as well as his own perseverance. Cumbermack’s first race saw him finish just inside the top‑ten, a strong showing for a rider who had yet to compete in a full season of the series. The following day, he secured a tenth‑place finish despite battling a forearm injury that threatened to cut his weekend short.

"Coming home to see the brothers and sisters of Bermuda cheering me on was a powerful reminder of why I race," the young athlete told the local press. "It’s an honour to represent the island on an international stage, and I hope my performances inspire other Bermudian riders to pursue their own motocross dreams.

Cumbermack’s results add to Bermuda’s growing reputation in the global motorcycle racing arena, building on past successes of riders such as Jaime Daniel and Gemma James. The Bicycle and Motorbike Club’s board plans to use the momentum from this weekend to increase youth training programs and secure sponsorships for upcoming events.
