Bermuda’s men’s national bowling team is set to travel to Brunnthal, near Munich, this week to compete in the International Bowling Federation World Cup. The squad, consisting of LeVinc Samuels, Lamar Richardson, David Maycock and Anthony Hayward, will be accompanied by team manager Steven Riley.

The event will be held at Max Munich Bowling and will feature bowlers from across the globe competing for a spot on the world stage. “It’s an honour for our players to represent the island against some of the best talent worldwide,” Riley said. He added that the team has trained extensively in Bermuda’s local leagues and has been preparing for the high‑level competition.

The World Cup offers Bermudian bowlers the chance to showcase their skills and gain valuable international experience. While the team has not yet secured a medal finish in previous IBF events, their participation underscores Bermuda’s commitment to growing sports diversity.

The Bermuda Observer will follow the team’s progress and bring updates as the competition unfolds.
