Dandy Town Sporting Club has reclaimed the top position in the Bermudian Premier League after a decisive 3–1 victory over St. George’s on Saturday night. The win, staged at the Olympic Sports Complex, saw striker Alex Thompson score twice, while midfielder Jamal Harding added a late goal to seal the triumph.

The result moves Dandy Town to the summit of the table with 28 points from 13 matches, one point ahead of rivals Somerset. Club chairman Michael Harrington praised the squad’s resilience, noting that the team’s recent tactical shift to a more aggressive pressing style has paid dividends.

"We’ve been working hard on our fitness and game plan,” Harrington said. “The lads responded well and the fans felt the energy. This is a great moment for our community.”

The club’s youth academy also celebrated, as several academy graduates earned playing time and the club’s manager, Derek Black, emphasised the importance of local talent development.

Dandy Town’s next fixture is a home match against Pembroke Heights on Sunday. The club’s supporters, many of whom travelled from St. George’s, are hopeful that the momentum will carry into the final stretch of the season.

With the playoffs looming, Dandy Town’s climb to the top of the standings injects fresh excitement into Bermudian football and showcases the growing competitiveness of the league.
