In a bid to bolster the next generation of Bermudian cricketers, the FrayStar Cricket Institute will stage a fundraising banquet on Sunday, 1 November, at the Pier 6 Complex. The evening, scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m., will showcase the institute’s achievements and outline plans to expand training programmes for youth across the island.

Organisers invite supporters, sponsors and community members to enjoy a night of fine dining, live entertainment and a showcase of local talent. The event will feature a special tribute to former players and benefactors who have helped keep cricket thriving in Bermuda.

FrayStar’s director, who spoke to local media earlier this week, highlighted the critical role of community backing in sustaining the institute’s growth. "The future of Bermudian cricket depends on the support we receive from families, schools and businesses," he said.

Tickets are on sale through the institute’s website and at the Pier 6 Complex reception. Proceeds will go directly to funding coaching clinics, equipment purchases and travel expenses for promising cricketers heading to regional tournaments. The banquet is expected to attract a mix of sports enthusiasts, local entrepreneurs and civic leaders, all united by a shared love of the game.

For more details or to purchase a ticket, visitors can log onto the FrayStar Cricket Institute’s online portal or contact the event coordinator at the Pier 6 Complex.
