One of Bermuda's oldest places of worship marked a remarkable milestone this weekend, as St. Mary's Anglican Church in Warwick celebrated its 400th anniversary with a series of special services and commemorative events.

The festivities culminated in a Rededication Service held on Sunday afternoon, led by The Reverend Carl Williams, Priest-in-Charge of St. Mary's. Parishioners, community members and invited guests gathered at the historic Warwick church to honour four centuries of faith, worship and service to the island. For those unable to attend in person, the service was also made available to watch via live stream, allowing Bermudians at home and abroad to share in the occasion.

The anniversary programme included a range of events reflecting on the church's long history and its role in the life of the surrounding community. Founded in the early years of Bermuda's settlement, St. Mary's has stood as a spiritual and historical landmark in Warwick for generations, witnessing countless baptisms, weddings and funerals over the centuries.

Church representatives expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the anniversary celebrations and noted that the rededication was both a look back at the church's rich heritage and a renewed commitment to serving the parish for generations to come.
