The Registry General has published the latest round of official Government and legal notices, including a notice of intended marriage and a liquor licence application, both dated October 9, 2026.

Among the legal notices is a notice of intended marriage filed under the Marriage Act, 1944 for Steven Decouto and Christiane Lippeck. The notice, registered as LN0733/2026 with the Registry General, follows the standard requirement that couples intending to wed in Bermuda must have their banns published publicly before a marriage licence can be issued. Such notices allow members of the public a window in which to raise any legal objection to the proposed union.

The same publication cycle includes a liquor licence notice, part of the routine process by which establishments seeking to sell alcohol on the island must advertise their applications. Liquor licence applications are subject to review by the Liquor Licensing Authority, and publication gives residents and businesses the opportunity to comment or object before a decision is made.

Official notices are published regularly by the Bermuda Government as part of its transparency obligations, covering matters ranging from marriages and liquor licences to company registrations, estate matters and planning applications. Members of the public can view the full text of current notices through the Government's official notices portal or via the Registry General's office in Hamilton. Anyone wishing to object to a published notice is generally required to do so within the timeframe specified in the relevant legislation.
