Guy Cabral has formally been admitted to the Bermuda Bar, joining the ranks of the island's practising attorneys at a ceremony held before the Hon. Chief Justice on 9 October 2026.

Mr Cabral, who is associated with the Bermuda office of offshore law firm Appleby, marked the occasion by acknowledging those who supported his legal journey, noting his intention to repay that confidence through committed service to his colleagues, clients and the wider Bermuda community.

The call to the Bar represents the culmination of years of academic study and professional training, and permits Mr Cabral to practise law within Bermuda's courts. Appleby, one of the island's most prominent offshore firms, has a long history of developing Bermudian legal talent through its scholarship and articling programmes.

Legal industry observers note that the admission of locally trained lawyers strengthens Bermuda's position as a leading international financial centre, where homegrown expertise remains in steady demand across the corporate, trust and insurance sectors.
