Hamilton, Bermuda – The island’s most anticipated food festival drew a record crowd in 2026, with more than 1,000 tickets sold for the multi‑day series of chef‑led dinners and themed tasting events. Local organisers reported a total of 1,061 tickets, a 12% increase over last year’s figure.

The festival, which runs from 12 to 15 July in various venues around Hamilton, showcased a range of culinary talent from both established and emerging Bermudian chefs. Attendees were treated to a mix of intimate dinner parties, interactive cooking demonstrations and live entertainment, all aimed at highlighting the island’s unique flavours and ingredients.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, a city representative noted the growing importance of food tourism for Bermuda’s economy. "Taste of Bermuda 2026 has once again positioned our city at the forefront of culinary innovation," she said. "The event not only supports local chefs but also attracts international visitors and media attention, boosting our hospitality sector.

The festival’s success underscores Hamilton’s commitment to promoting the island’s culinary heritage while encouraging culinary entrepreneurship. Organisers are already planning next year’s event, with a focus on sustainability and farm‑to‑table initiatives.

"We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike to experience the best of Bermudian cuisine and creativity," the spokesperson added.
