The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) has announced a complimentary goalkeeping workshop to be held at the Clyde Best Centre of Excellence from 4 to 8 November. The five‑day event will be run by John Moreira, the coach of the Bermuda Senior Men’s National Team. Participants will gain hands‑on instruction on positioning, shot‑stopping and distribution, with sessions tailored to all skill levels.

The Clyde Best Centre, a key training hub for local talent, will host the clinic each day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration is open to Bermudian goalkeepers aged 16 and older, and the BFA has confirmed that no fees will be charged. The association hopes the workshop will raise the standard of goalkeeping across the island and provide a pipeline of talent for the national team.

Coaches and officials from clubs across the archipelago will attend to observe the techniques and incorporate the lessons into their own programmes. The BFA’s initiative follows a growing focus on youth development, and organisers say the workshop is a step toward sustaining Bermuda’s competitive edge in regional tournaments.

"By investing in our players’ technical foundations, we’re building a stronger future for Bermudian football," said a BFA spokesperson. The event is part of a broader strategy to enhance coaching resources and player pathways on the island.
