Bermuda College has been granted full reaccreditation by the International Association of Universities, assuring students and employers that the institution continues to meet rigorous academic standards.
The accreditation review covered faculty qualifications, curriculum breadth, research initiatives and student support services. College leaders said the process highlighted the dedication of educators and the institution’s commitment to offering programs that align with Bermuda’s evolving workforce needs.
With reaccreditation in place, students can confidently pursue degree programmes knowing their qualifications are recognised both locally and abroad. The College also plans to expand its community outreach, offering workshops on marine conservation, tourism management and digital skills to local high‑school graduates.
“We are proud to confirm that Bermuda College remains a cornerstone of higher education in the islands,” said Vice‑Chancellor Dr. Jane Thomas. “This achievement reinforces our role in preparing the next generation of Bermudian leaders and sustaining our island’s economic resilience.”
