The Warwick Football Academy (WFA) will run a five‑day football camp in Hamilton from October 10‑14, bringing together local U‑14 and U‑16 players and a visiting coach from the United States. The camp is organised with the help of SoCal Reds FC of Irvine, California, and will feature a guest coaching session led by former professional midfielder Paul Bright.

"We are thrilled to welcome a coach of Paul Bright’s calibre to our community," said WFA director Maria Johnson. "The partnership with SoCal Reds FC not only adds an international dimension to our training programmes but also gives our young athletes a chance to learn from someone with experience in the American college system and abroad."

Players enrolled in the camp will participate in daily drills, small‑side matches, and tactical workshops. The programme, which focuses on technical skills, fitness and game understanding, is designed to complement WFA’s existing development pathway for Bermuda’s future football talent.

The camp will run on WFA’s facilities at the Princess Hall Sports Complex, where teams will also have access to the on‑site fitness centre and hydro‑therapy pool. Registration is open to Bermudian residents only, and spots are limited. Interested players can sign up via WFA’s website or by contacting the academy’s administration office in Hamilton.

For the first time since the pandemic, the camp marks a return to in‑person training for youth footballers on the island, and is expected to foster stronger ties between Bermudian and American football communities.
