Bermudian golfer Dylan Muso bounced back strongly on the second day of the West Pines Collegiate tournament in Georgia, trimming four strokes off his opening score to card a one-over-par 72 at West Pines Golf Club in Douglasville.

The McDaniel College student had opened his campaign with a 76, but his improved second-round performance lifted him to a six-over-par total of 148 after 36 holes, leaving him tied for 65th place in the field.

Muso's ability to adjust to the course conditions between rounds will be encouraging for the young Bermudian, who continues to gain valuable experience competing on the American collegiate circuit. College tournaments of this kind provide island golfers with regular high-level competition that is difficult to replicate at home.

The West Pines Collegiate draws university golfers from across the region, and Muso's presence in the field adds to Bermuda's growing representation in collegiate golf in the United States. He was expected to complete the tournament with a final round, looking to build on the momentum of his second-day improvement and climb further up the leaderboard.
