The Bermuda Karting Association returned to action on Sunday, October 11, staging the second race day of the 2026–2027 RUBIS Energy Karting Championship, with several drivers asserting early control of their respective classes across three heats of competition.

Nathan DeCosta delivered the standout performance of the afternoon, winning all three heats in the TAG Senior division to establish himself as the early pacesetter in the class. His clean sweep underscored a dominant outing as the season begins to take shape.

The championship, which runs through the winter and spring months, draws competitors from across the island in a range of classes catering to different age groups and engine categories. Organisers said the strong level of competition on display bodes well for the remainder of the season, with points accumulated at each race day contributing toward the overall championship standings.

The Bermuda Karting Association has long served as a proving ground for local motorsport talent, with many of the island's top drivers having honed their skills in the karting ranks before moving on to other forms of racing. The series continues to benefit from the backing of title sponsor RUBIS Energy.

Further race days are scheduled in the coming months, with drivers set to battle for position as the championship picture develops. Full results from Sunday's event are available through the association.
