Bermuda’s annual breast cancer awareness walk has reached its 30th anniversary, highlighting three decades of community fundraising, education and support for people affected by the disease.

The milestone event brought together survivors, families, friends, businesses and volunteers in a show of solidarity with those who have experienced breast cancer. Participants also remembered loved ones lost to the illness while promoting the importance of early detection and access to appropriate care.

Over the years, the walk has become a fixture in Bermuda’s calendar of health-awareness events. Funds associated with the campaign have helped support local education, screening and patient services, while encouraging residents to learn about breast health and discuss concerns with qualified medical professionals.

Organisers said the longevity of the event reflected the continued generosity and commitment of the Bermuda community. The 30-year observance served both as a celebration of progress in awareness and treatment and as a reminder that breast cancer continues to affect families across the island.
