Bermuda’s gambling landscape is set to grow as the island opens up a suite of betting options for fans of the PGA Tour. Local sportsbooks and online platforms will now offer parlays, prop bets and playoff wagers on a range of golf tournaments, giving residents and visitors a chance to wager on their favourite players without leaving the island.

The move, announced by the Bermuda Gaming Authority, follows a review of the island’s betting regulations. Under the new framework, licensed operators can provide a broader array of wager types, including fixed‑odds play and live‑action props such as “first to reach 40 strokes under par” or “number of birdies in the final round.” The authority says the changes will help attract more sports enthusiasts to local venues and support the tourism sector.

“We’re excited to give Bermudians and visitors a more dynamic betting experience,” said Gaming Authority Chair Dr. Mark Hargreaves. “The PGA Tour draws global attention, and by offering these options locally, we can keep fans engaged while maintaining strict regulatory oversight.

The first event to feature the expanded betting lineup will be the 2026 PGA Tour’s Bermuda Classic, scheduled for July at the Royal Bermuda Golf Club. Operators will roll out the new offerings in advance, allowing fans to place bets on the tournament’s various stages from the comfort of the island’s Prime Casino or via secure online portals. The initiative is expected to boost local revenue and enhance Bermuda’s reputation as a premier destination for sports betting and tourism alike.
